What Do You Love Most About Hairdressing?
I like the fact that I know that I can contribute to a person's self-esteem. I think that when we feel beautiful, we are happier.
What Has Been Your Journey Into Hairdressing?
As far back as I can remember, I have always been involved in hair and hairdressing runs through our family. I remember my mum doing hair when I was young in Portugal and I used to assist her. When I moved to the UK, I pursued hairdressing working in East London for a number of years. It's where I met my partner who is a Barber.
I'm really happy to be part of Team Afrotherapy and to learn more skills and develop further. My ultimate dream is to create a salon like Afrotherapy in Portugal within the next few years.

Single braids, Cornrows, Extensions, Box Braids. Show me a picture and I can usually achieve it for you.

I received no judgement when explaining my lack of haircare since moving. They’ve gone into great detail about nutrition for better hair health and have offered briliiant advice for post service care. Solange has been especially amazing and has so far provided an excellent silk press and weave. I’d highly recommend this salon for anyone interested hair health and great service!
