I had a nice time here, Joseph gave me a nice haircut that really suits my face, it was a good experience, excellent customer service

As a new slightly apprehensive customer due to bad experiences with previous hairdressers not achieving my desired hair colour, I booked in for a consultation. Shantay made me feel extremely at ease, was polite and clear on the process and the outcome that would be achievable for my full head of highlights. One the day of my appointment we discussed the different options and what would work best for me and from start to finish I throughly enjoyed the experience and the finished results. From the advice given on how best to care for the colour to recommendations on products to use for some breakages I have been dealing with. I have now found my regular hairdresser and would highly recommend visiting Afrotherapy and if you are considering colour or colour correction Shantay is your girl!

Solange and the team are amazing. I have been attending the salon for around a year now and am so happy I found Afrotherapy Solange is so knowledgeable and professional Afrotherapy has been a game changer for my hair.

Visiting a new salon and trusting your hair to a stranger is incredibly daunting. However, from the moment I walked into Afrotherapy, I was put at ease by the wonderfully friendly and attentive staff.

Jennifer (stylist) took the time to listen and understand what I wanted and provided sound advise. The result was not only amazing but I also left with practical advice on how to maintain my hair and the style at home.

The whole experience was pleasurable, with great conversation and as much tea/coffee as I could drink!

Just over 12 months into transition to natural hair after 30 years of processing - advice and guidance at Afrotherapy is invaluable. I have a mixture of 4a, 4b, and 4c hair which is very difficult to control. Solange did my hair and I was extremely impressed. I had an affirm relaxer, treatment, wash, and blow-dry. I'd just like to say thank you very much for the excellent service and aftercare advice. I'm happy to have finally found someone who understands how to manage my hair. I will be booking Solange again even though it takes me 2 hours to travel to the salon because it's worth it.

Jennifer is amazing! She relaxes and treats my hair with such care and attention, and the results are always excellent. My hair feels healthy, looks beautiful, and I receive so many compliments after every appointment. She truly knows what she’s doing, and I always leave her chair feeling confident and refreshed. The salon itself is second to none – a friendly, peaceful environment, truly a 5⭐️ experience that sets the standard. I would highly recommend!

I had a great experience at the salon yesterday. It was my first time there and my stylist Harriet along with the other stylists were super welcoming and friendly. The service was professional and the salon itself was relaxing and clean. We started off with a consultation about my hair. She listened to my concerns and executed the style perfectly. Will definitely recommend and hopefully be back very soon 🙂

I went today with my son 14 years old, his first salon experience. After years of having long braids he was ready for change. He left looking great and feeling confident with his new curly cut. We also received a great consultation on products and care to maintain his curls. Staff were helpful and welcoming. Thank you very much he is so pleased with his new look and feels confident in knowledge he received to look after his curls.

It was my first visit to Afrotherapy Hair Salon and I felt a little nervous but I was soon put at ease with a friendly welcome and a relaxing atmosphere. My stylist for the day was Jennifer who is amazing. I was really impressed with her skills. She is attentive and listened to what I wanted and delivered great results, exactly what I envisaged.
