Afrotherapy Take Home the Trophies at the Black Beauty/Sensationnel Hair Awards 2013

TeamDecember saw hundreds of top Afro hairdressers from the UK and Europe gather at The Hilton London Metropole for the prestigious Black Beauty/Sensationnel Hair Awards 2013. The afro hairdressing event, which is not to be missed, puts the spotlight on the skill and artistry involved in afro hair styling, and proving they are top of their game was the team at Afrotherapy in London.

Afrotherapy’s Michelle Garande crowned the winner!

MichelleAfrotherapy afro hairdresser in London, Michelle Garande scooped first place as Avant Garde Stylist of The Year 2013 and the finalist position in the Braid Stylist of The Year at the Black Beauty/Sensationnel Hair Awards 2013. One win and one finalist place was still not good enough for the Afrotherapy hairdressing team as they then made the finals in the Styling Team of The Year category. One of the UK’s finest comediennes Angie Le Mar opened the event with an afro hair fashion show wowing the audience.  It was a fantastic evening for the movers and shakers of the afro hairdressing world to network, be inspired and awarded for their hard work and creative input into the afro hairdressing sector.
