After months of carefully planning how to give back to our community of hair lovers, we finally hit the spot, Influencer partnership!
Afrotherapy launched a campaign to partner with growing influencers as a way of supporting their craft and we just recently had the privilege to work with another influencer, Fisayo.
In the very first collaboration, we partnered with influencer Ropo_Demure who visited the salon for a Silk press and Texture release.
And for this recent collaboration, we partnered with a growing fashion icon and creative, Fisayo who visited the salon for a silk press and a bob cut, and how she loved the experience!
Why this partnership?
This collaboration was created as a way to not only celebrate our textured roots, but also give back to our Afro hair community. As professional hairstylists, we understand the struggles the textured hair community faces and with the influx of several opinions and products, we decided to bridge the gap.
By carefully selecting influencers with similar values as ours, we started this campaign to not only celebrate the textured hair community, but also re-enforce our authority as professionals and sensitise our online communty on how to care for their textured strands.
In addition to these and as a means of giving back, we added a partnership discount on all services. As such, for every appointment made using an influencer’s referral code, the client gets a £20 discount and the influencer receives a £25 voucher that can be redeemed on their next visit.
By doing this, our aim is simple, celebrate and give back to a community that is passionate about growing healthy hair.
