Afrotherapy Awards & Industry Recognition

Afrotherapy has received recognition across the hair and beauty industry for creative styling, technical work and business achievements. Founded in Edmonton, North London, the salon and its stylists have been recognised through a range of industry and business awards over the years.

Among the highlights are a Braid Stylist of the Year win at the Black Beauty / Sensationnel Hair Awards, along with finalist positions in the L'Oréal Colour Trophy, Mizani Afro Look Awards and London Hair & Beauty Awards – Afro Salon of the Year.

Individual members of the Afrotherapy team have also received recognition for their work, including Michelle Garande for braid and avant-garde styling. These awards and nominations reflect the range of creative work produced by the salon and its stylists over the years.
