Another top award for stylist Michelle

Afrotherapy Hair Salon Creative Stylist Michelle Garande is in wonderland after winning the Fantasy Hair Competition at Afro Hair and Beauty Live 2014 for the second year in a row.

The event, held at Islington Business Design Centre, challenges Stylists to take Afro hair to the next level by creating an Avant-Garde Style that showed creativity, originality and visual impact.

“Having won the award last year, I challenged myself this year to create something even more visually impactful. To win it for the second year in a row is just an amazing achievement for me personally,” says Michelle.

Michelle’s entry was based on the Alice in Wonderland theme and featured the Queen of Hearts and the White Queen. She took her creativity even further by also making all the outfits herself. Michelle was assisted by fellow Creative Team member, Natalie Willie.
